NOTICE TO ALL APPLICANTS

The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church Debre Berhan St. Basilios Theological College would like to announce that, in the 2019 E.C. academic year, it will accept and provide theological education through an extension program during the vacation period to students who meet the requirements in the fields of study listed below.

Accordingly, the programs offered are:

1. Diploma in Theology
2. Special Diploma for Priests /Seminary/

Admission Requirements for the Diploma in Theology:

1. Applicants who have completed Grade 12 and have obtained a score of 200 or above.
2. Applicants who completed the former Grade 10 system or have completed 10+2 and obtained a result of more than 9 points /certificate/.
3. Applicants who possess Level 3 or Level 4 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) certification.

Admission Requirements for the Special Diploma for Priests (Seminary):

1. Applicants who are priests, monks, or deacons.
2. Applicants who have received basic church education and are currently engaged in church service.
3. Applicants who can provide evidence from the parish or church where they serve confirming their service/employment.

Documents Required from All Applicants at the Time of Registration:

• Evidence confirming that they are followers of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, together with a confirmation letter from the parish church where they serve.
• Original educational certificates and non-returnable copies of the educational credentials.
• Registration can be completed in person on working days at the Shewarobit Woreda Betekihnet Office from the date of this announcement until Meskerem 15, 2019 E.C.

• Applicants are reminded that they can register at the Shewarobit Woreda Betekihnet Office on working days by paying the above-mentioned registration fees and submitting two passport-size photographs.
• Regarding payment of the fees, applicants are reminded that they can make the payment by depositing the required amount into the bank account opened at the Awash Bank Shewarobit Branch: 013521786545900, and then proceed with registration.
